<description>We use SOTW as well, and are only about 10 chapters away from finishing the fourth volume! My kids (ages 9 and 10) have thoroughly enjoyed it, and they have developed a strong sense of world history (and a love for it as well) as a result of going through all four volumes. We consider Story of the World to be our desert island curriculum...the one curriculum we&#039;d want to have with us on a desert island (not literally of course, but you get my drift).

Susan did an excellent job of getting the story of history across and creating a love for the study of history, which will go much further than just memorizing a list of monarchs and dates.

Your list looks great! This is my first time to your blog, and it looks very interesting. I can&#039;t wait to read more.

Thanks,

Joy
