When I taught 5th grade, my students (and I) memorized (or &quot;rememberized,&quot; as the case may be) the Preamble in our study of the Constitution.  I think having those words and phrases stored in one&#039;s brain cells is a good thing.  Same thing with the Gettysburg Address.</description>
